Elm. A footed food bowl in a soft, mellow color. A similar bowl exactly the same size is illustrated in Pinto's Treen for the Table, p.150. Purchased from Edward Pinto by the Charlton Collection in 1966 for 5 pounds, (collection label on bottom). From there to a specialist dealer to Fiske and Freeman. Sales receipt from Pinto available to purchaser. Good original condition, no restoration.
